Position Summary: This position fulfills a variety of key customer support functions to help ensure revenue attainment. Will work closely with our customers and manage all daily customer communication, as well as support our remote Sales team. In performing these tasks, you will also work closely with the Supply Chain and Production teams. The position will quote orders, enter and track orders in the ERP system, investigate shipping issues, record and maintain the customer complaint system, issue request for credits, and track data in sales databases. Duties and Responsibilities: · Work closely with our customers to deliver outstanding level service and project a high level of professionalism through E-mail, phone, or chat. · Answer questions from customers regarding price, availability and order status. · Accept and confirm orders from customers for standard products. · Identify non-standard orders. · Accept and confirm orders non-standard products and initiate a CR for the product. · Create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. · Carry out client satisfaction surveys and reviews. · Issue requests for credits and Return Material Authorizations RMAs. · Contact customers and/or local sellers when deliveries are behind schedule. · Maintain a customer sales history file system for all sales and sample transactions. · Maintain a quote system for non-standard products or prices and update the quotes as needed. · Communicate non-standard department circumstances to the supervisor. · Maintain a high level of professionalism and transparency to supervisors. · Maintain a high level of proficiency with ERP system. · Other duties as required. Qualifications: · College degree preferred with at least 2 years' relevant experience in a customer service or inside sales related capacity; or high school diploma with at least 5 years’ relevant experience. · Experience working with ERP systems and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus). · Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. · Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel and Word. · Demonstrable aptitude for math; ability to perform calculation and conversion between English measurement system and metric system. · Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. · Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers. · Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills. · Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. · Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. · Must be self-motivated and have the ability to effectively manage stress. · Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. · Ability to understand and comply with company policies and Health & Safety requirements. · Ability to work on-site.
