We are looking for a personable, detail oriented, quick learning individual with outstanding customer service skills to join our growing optometry office in the Optometric Technician/Doctor's Assistant Position! Experience is a plus, but is not required. If you are willing and eager to learn and have a strong work ethic, then we will train you for success! The candidate needs to be able to multi-task, have good attention to detail, be well-spoken, and be willing to help in all areas of the practices when needed. Employment Type: Full Time Compensation: $14.00-$15.00 per hour, team members also receive an additional monthly bonus based on office success and individual performance (averaging +$150 per month) -$200/Month of Healthcare Reimbursement/Insurance Premium Payments Benefits available after first 90 Days Responsibilities: The duties of this position would include (but is not limited to): Optometric Technician/Front Desk: · Greeting and welcoming everyone who enters the office. · Checking patients in for their eye exams. · Preparing Patient's for their Eye Exams · Collecting payments in person and over the phone and checking patients out. · Answering phone calls. · Scheduling and confirming patient appointments. · Preparing patient chart folders. · Scanning documents to patient charts. · Retrieving and filing insurance benefits for patients. · Performing facility maintenance and cleaning/opening/closing duties Requirements: · Excellent phone etiquette, written, and oral communication skills. · Customer Service Experience: 1 year · Multi-tasker and fast learner. · Computer savvy, minimum 30 wpm. · Detail oriented, organized, and efficient. · Dependable, reliable, and articulate. Employee Hours: · Monday-Friday: 8:40am-6:00pm (Team members have one Off Day per week either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday) · Saturday: 8:40am-3:00pm -Sunday: CLOSED · Every Saturday Required for All Team Members Dress Code: Black Scrubs and clean footwear. If team members have visible tattoos then they must be covered while the team member is in the office. Visible piercings are only allowed on the ears, all others must be removed prior to entering the office. Hair color must be a hair color that occurs naturally with people (no dyed green, blue, purple colors).
