DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and lead the auto collections team to ensure effective collection of outstanding debts from customers. Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support to achieve collection targets. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to collections. Document and implement ongoing and continuous training process. Qualifications: BHPH experience helpful but not required. Previous experience in auto collections or related field, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. Through understanding of collection and repossession laws. Ability to build rapport with customers and associates. Strong understanding of collection techniques, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a team. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient computer skills, including experience with collections software and Microsoft Office Suite. Telephone skills, including a smiling voice. Hands on and willing to assist in collections. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Respect confidentiality of consumers and associates. Projection of professional image in a business casual environment.
