GRACE is seeking an energetic, organized, mission-minded individual to perform clerical and accounting duties as an Accounting Assistant (part-time).Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare daily bank deposits; Accounts receivable; Revenue recording; Responding to user reporting requests; Participates in MIP Fund Accounting and Thrift Cart training as needed; Daily audit and verification of register sales and paperwork at each resale location; records monthly sales in MIP fund accounting Works with Director of Resale & Operations to research and resolve any discrepancies; Backup for accounting associate as needed; Other duties as assigned; Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree and/or at least two years related experience; Demonstrated computer knowledge including experience in Microsoft software and MIP Fund Accounting; Schedule: 20 hours per week; Must work Wednesdays; other days are flexible; Will attend GRACE events as needed; Gala, Designer Bags & Bingo, Poker Pay: Non-exempt; hourly - $18.00 Paid semi-monthly Position reports to the Chief Financial OfficerAll offers of employment are contingent upon the results of a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks. Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person

Skills & Responsibilities:

Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.

  • Must have professional communication skills.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete.
  • Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
  • This position requires working in the field and testing in the lab.
  • We need employees with a "can do" attitude who can work flexible hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Responsible for mid-size truck.
