7-Eleven is hiring immediately: Sales Tax Associate! *This is a Hybrid Role* This role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the sales tax compliance team including the timely preparation, filing, and payment of sales and other indirect tax returns as well as related general ledger account reconciliations. Reconcile associated general ledger accounts and ensure reconciling items are fully documented and resolved in a timely manner. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr. Degree EXPERIENCE: 2+ years multi-state tax compliance experience SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong computer skills (Excel, sales tax return software, etc.) Solid written and verbal communication skills. Individual must be well organized, reliable and action oriented. Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks along with time-sensitive deadlines. Prepare and provide periodic reporting of sales and other related tax payments. Support sales tax compliance team including preparation and tracking of check requests and manual return filings. Track receipt and resolution of franchise sales and other related tax notices. Research and resolve franchise sales tax ServiceNow cases adhering to specific SLAs. Assist with tax related special projects and implementation of process improvement initiates in alignment with Department and Company initiatives.
