The Oaks at Flower Mound is looking for a part-time Server to join our team in the Flower Mound, TX area! Must have flexible availability. We can accommodate your needs. Must be available to work at least one weekend day and some holidays. Must have experience in restaurant server roles. We can help with learning the rest of the role if you have not previously worked in restaurant server roles. Must be able to work standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and work with all levels of management and staff. Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures. Job Duties: Buss tables and serve customers. Check out customers using the company’s POS system. Make drinks and take orders for customers. Answer phones, check email, and text on behalf of the server when needed. Clean dishes, plates, glasses, etc. as needed during service times. Help set up tables for parties or other events as needed. Help set tables when needed by removing trash from tables and setting tableware, utensils, napkins etc.. as needed during service times. Help close down the restaurant as needed by collecting all payments from customers or closing down the restaurant computer system as needed with instructions on how to use the system properly after closing it down. Be a good role model for the staff!
