Job Title: Computer Component Repair Technician Location: Grapevine, Tx Pay: $16/hr Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm Position Summary: The Component Repair Division is seeking a skilled Computer Component Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various computer components to ensure optimal functionality. With a focus on attention to detail and technical expertise, the technician will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware and electronic components to identify faults and malfunctions. Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements on desktops, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices. Utilize diagnostic tools, including multi-meters and oscilloscopes, to analyze electronic circuits and systems. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to understand component specifications and repair procedures. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop innovative solutions for complex repair challenges. Track repair activities and maintain accurate records using Excel or other database software. Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Assist in inventory management by tracking component usage and identifying replenishment needs. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of experience in computer repair or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking data and recording repair activities. Strong understanding of computer hardware components and their functions. Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. Experience using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical dexterity and ability to lift and move equipment as required.
