What We Offer: At BrightStar Care we value each of our employees and care about their well-being and offer: Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) after six months employment 7 Days Paid Time Off Part of a team with RN Oversight & Joint Commission accredited Quarterly performance bonus Employee referral bonus Weekly pay with direct deposit Overview: 30 hours per week Hybrid work arrangement, including at least 3 half days in the office (Flower Mound) Opportunity to grow in the role and take on additional scope, particularly in an HR capacity, if desired This role reports directly to the Branch Manager Responsibilities:Recruiting (50%) Work with the General Manager and Branch Manager on all recruiting needs (e.g., office, nurses, caregivers) Assist in the creation, customization, updating & posting of job descriptions Track & prescreen all applicants in a timely manner Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruitment (e.g., events, school programs, career fairs, various websites, social media) Coordinate interview process with appropriate team members Perform reference and background checks as needed Prepare and lead processes to oversee completion of new hire packages Plan for and assists Brand Manager in conducting New Hire Orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals Office Mgmt. (50%) Maintain office & field team records Track quarterly team goals Assist with tracking & administering employee performance review process (office & field) Research & train management in best practices for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review & safety Own Relias platform for training, employee credentialling & upskilling Track and request expiring credentials from employees Track & administer benefits programs (e.g., insurance, vacation) Support Branch Manager in employee separation process Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally Perform competitive analyses (e.g., wages, rates) Scanning/filing, as needed Scheduling support, as needed Answer phones, as needed Requirements: 2+ years prior of related HR Generalist & Recruiting experience A bachelor’s degree is required Experience with healthcare recruiting a major plus. Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. Skill in database management and record keeping. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule. Excellent organizational skills. Gather and analyze information skillfully.   • This position requires working in the field and testing in the lab.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
