We are expanding our insurance (Advocacy) team and adding 1 more person. These roles will be fully in-office in our Highland Village/Denton or Frisco locations! Our Advocacy team deals with medical insurance. Each member of the team focuses on a different piece of the insurance life cycle, including verifying benefits, submitting pre-authorizations and medical records, following up on claims, posting payments, obtaining HMO referrals, etc. We are looking for a Medical Credentialing Specialist to add to the team with experience reviewing documentation for compliance and up-to-date knowledge on accreditation requirements to ensure that all of our medical staff members have the necessary qualifications for their position. Job duties will include (but not limited to) credentialing providers with insurance companies, keeping track of expiration dates and renewals, stay up-to-date on industry regulations, and making sure employees keep up with any changes. This role is fairly autonomous, so being able to create a system to track and report your output will be key. Advocacy team members are determined and detail oriented.
