We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our construction projects, providing leadership and focus to keep our team on track. Strategic Work: Maintain a positive, engaged relationship with client and related industry partners such as builders, architects, interior designers who are also working on the project. Provide support to the superintendent to solve construction related problems as they arise, while staying in constant communication with the design team. Be a source of positivity, speed and focus to keep the team and project on track. Be a voice of knowledge and experience to find potential issues in the construction project, raise them and troubleshoot. Responsibilities: 1. Lead out and manage construction process with a focus on both speed and quality: Onboard the Terrain Workshop team with required new project tasks. Host project kick off meeting with client and pre-construction meeting with design and construction team Manage design scope and change order process Physically inspect all field work to ensure design intent is realized and workmanship meets company standards 2. Office work: Maintain a balance of 70% office and 30% field Create and maintain efficient project schedules. Communicate schedule and job status to Terrain Workshop team, client, and Builder with weekly status emails Issue PO’s at the beginning of each project Review incoming invoices and project receipts, compare to POs and approve for payment as needed Maintain accurate records in project management software as it relates to budget, invoicing, change orders, schedule, etc. Review and approve project P&L’s 3. Support Sales Team: Create and present project proposals and estimates for upcoming work and meet with clients to close the deal Suggest design modifications to facilitate budget needs Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction related field desired, or a combination of similar education and experience Minimum 10 years of experience in pool, landscape, or hardscape construction Knowledge of proper construction techniques, building materials and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Proven ability to manage several projects at a time while adjusting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines We offer competitive compensation packages based on qualifications and experience.
