Excellent systems knowledge: MS Office and internet, etc. Email traffic is very high, so keeping up with them is key. Must be able to handle a high number of calls per day. Primary Duties 80% Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough records. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service. Manage exceptions and review database for errors. Research and resolve exceptions and respond to escalation of service requests. Answer incoming customer phone calls and take appropriate action for each call. Maintain department KPIs and customer satisfaction ratings as defined by the department. Handle store/customer logistic opportunities as they occur/monitor. Perform routine data entry including but not limited to entering new orders and shipment information into computerized tracking systems; tracking shipments with both inbound and outbound; and updating information in various systems. Communicate and monitor incoming customer emails to ensure timely communication; escalate internal and external concerns for expedited resolution; always ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the logistics process. 20% Run, interpret, and disseminate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Committed to verifying that all information is correct by close of the business day. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the logistics process. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor's College degree preferred Strong communication skills required. Must be detailed oriented and analytical. Ability to learn new software systems quickly and efficiently. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Proven proficiency working in Microsoft applications such as, Outlook, Excel, Word. Higher level of MS Excel experience is beneficial. Minimum 2 years of one of the following: customer service and/or transportation experience required. Minimum 2 years of general office work required Competencies and Attributes Excellent written and oral skills Practical experience with a Transportation Management System Strong strategic thinking skills Ability to work with all levels in the organization along with 3rd party partnersAnalytic competencies to implement Transformation initiatives and daily/weekly reporting. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.

  • Must have professional communication skills.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete.
  • Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
  • This position requires working in the field and testing in the lab.
  • We need employees with a "can do" attitude who can work flexible hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
