Hiring Immediately - Payroll Specialist - Irving TX: InerGroup is looking for a Payroll Specialist who is an organized, creative professional that will be managing our weekly payroll processes for a high volume associate base, which includes successful time entry into our internal system, AlphaStaff and AVIONTE, and following up with all discrepancies immediately. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with exceptional problem-solving skills that can think outside of the box and anticipate next steps. Salary Starting salary of $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience and great benefits available. Responsibilities Enter payroll into AlphaStaff's payroll system Reconcile payroll and payroll tax information on a payroll basis Reconcile payroll hours and process weekly payroll Ensuring accurate processing of payroll deductions/garnishments in partnership with AlphaStaff Input all payroll related data necessary for processing payroll Perform payroll processing using the payroll system Accumulating payroll information, preparing payroll checks. Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies Track miscellaneous employee payroll deductions Save weekly payroll reports Prepare payroll input to computerized payroll systems at AlphaStaff Partner with the payroll specialist at AlphaStaff to produce payroll and resolve discrepancies Confirm all payroll processing entries Balance electronic payroll files to payroll administration system Resolve alongside AlphaStaff any outstanding payroll tax issues Determining payroll liabilities through balancing of payroll Performing quarterly audits of payroll related invoices and payroll deductions Resolve payroll/tax reporting issues Day to day liaison with AlphaStaff's benefits team to assist in enrolling and eligibility Requirements Requires 2-4 years of payroll experience. Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality for all employee payroll and personnel records. Ability to provide excellent customer service while working with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and/or mandates and maintain effective communication with all internal and contacts. Strong organization skills, ability to set priorities. Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint Advanced knowledge Excel. Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
