Job Summary: Rapidly growing construction company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for daily accounts payable transactions including entering vendor invoices and credit memos, processing corporate credit card transactions and vendor reconciliations. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs day-to-day Accounts Payable responsibilities: Maintains vendor relationships. Maintain accounts payable records. Process high volumes of vendor invoices and credit memos. Investigate and resolve discrepancies on vendor accounts. Collect and verify credit card transactions and complete monthly reconciliation for credit cards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: 1 - 3 Years of AP experience Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel NetSuite experience is preferred. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in accounting is preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
