Audio Visual Technician - Temporary - Technology Services Required

Description The Audio Visual (A/V) Technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots Denton County A/V systems and related equipment. The A/V Technician must work collaboratively as a team member helping with computer and related equipment repairs, installation, software upgrades, networking, and office work. Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated ability to perform high-level maintenance on A/V systems and related equipment. Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of electronics and wiring. Must not have any Class B misdemeanor or higher convictions or deferred adjudications. Supplemental Information The anticipated work schedule is 40 hours/week estimated to last approximately 6 months. Contract Labor positions are staffed through an employment agency. Denton County will provide the name and contact information for the employment agency prior to starting an assignment.

Skills & Responsibilities:

Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.

  • Must have professional communication skills.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete.
  • Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
  • This position requires working in the field and testing in the lab.
  • We need employees with a "can do" attitude who can work flexible hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
