We are seeking for a seasoned and dynamic sales and events manager to join our team. As the event manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our off-site events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, passionate, tenacious, and hyper-motivated. The ideal candidate will share our company's creative vision and have a passion for all things food and hospitality. What will you be doing? - Plan, coordinate, and execute all off-site events, including festivals, corporate functions, and social gatherings. - Generate and close new off-site corporate and social catering opportunities. - Manage all aspects of presentation and service during events, if needed. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and storage. - Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of event staff. - Proactively solicits new business, making prospecting calls and outside client visits. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events. - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. - Monitor financial performance by analyzing costs and implementing strategies to maximize profitability. Qualifications: - Proven track record in catering, festival, or private event operations/sales. - Strong knowledge of the food industry and current catering trends. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage a team effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Cold calling experience is a plus. - Experience with festival or off-site events is preferred. - Knowledge of hospitality operations is a plus. Skills & Responsibilities:

Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.

  • Must have professional communication skills.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete.
  • Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
  • This position requires working in the field and testing in the lab.
  • We need employees with a "can do" attitude who can work flexible hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
