Accounts Payable Analyst – Construction This is an in the office, quick moving, attention to detail, no distractions, long term, punctual, reliable and respectful position. We work as a team. Carrollton, TX based general contractor is looking for a hands-on Accounts Payable Analyst to participate in the corporate accounting functions for multiple companies and locations. Experience in QuickBooks and understanding the bookkeeping function related to construction throughout various locations is required. This position will be required to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This position will work closely with owners, management, Account Managers and Sales Managers, Project Managers, office staff and third-party partners such as clients and vendors. Duties include: Full Cycle Accounts Payable Credit Cards- Maintain multiple credit card accounts Enter charges with job coding Match receipts to charges Reconcile in QuickBooks Material invoices - Enter material invoices with job coding Obtain approvals as required Reconcile monthly vendor statements Scanning – vendor payments Monthly materials AP maintenance Sub-contractor labor contracts- Enter labor contracts in QuickBooks Enter labor invoices against contracts Identify discrepancies and resolve with Account Managers W-9 & COI maintenance* Update maintain various Google spreadsheets Additional tasks as needed Requirements: 3 or more years accounting / office experience Strong payables background/experience Construction experience Intermediate QuickBooks experience in current version 2022 Enterprise Accurate and efficient in data entry, audits, reporting, etc. Must be able to use discretion and exercise confidentiality Must be able to communicate professionally in both verbal and written form Must have effective interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to use sound judgement Must have the ability to simultaneously and effectively prioritize and manage one’s tasks as well as others in order to meet timelines and maintain performance Compensation: Competitive based on experience Employer sponsored medical insurance options Dental and Vision available at employee expense 401(k) plan with company matching after 6 months of employment Paid Time off Company paid Holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience level: 3 years Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Accounts: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
